I have read all of "The Mitchell" family novels... I was sad when I ralized I was at the end of Humbled. I pray you are not going to leave us hanging we all want to know what is going to happen to each of the characters. In the meantime and in the between time I will be awaiting the next novel... Forgiveness...!! Be Blessed and keep allowing the Lord to use you.

Was at the DST banquet you spoke at in Magnolia. Was impressed with how you made it and the vision you have of hope and helping others. It was touching seeing you pray over those youngsters that received a copy of your books. Thanks for showing that one can make it and it does not matter that you came from a small town.

Hi Patricia, I have read your book Chosen and enjoyed it very much. It was such a blessing about everyday life and situations that arises whether it be personal, business, or other it's important we put God first and walk by faith and not by sight in. So, just like to thank you for a job well done and I will be reading all your other books. Also, i will be adding your books to our church book club.

Peace & Blessings

Hi Patricia. I love reading the books in the chosen series. You asked if it was made into a movie who would play who................... I think Don should be played by Idris Elba. He can play the role with such honor. I think Medaline should be played by Lynn Whitfield because of her role in Medea's Family Reunion. Tamar should be played by Sanaa Lathan, Andre should be played by Terrance Howard, Morris Chestnut should play Joel and lastly Sherry should be played by Sharon Leal

The first book I read by you is Anointed. I just finished it and it was magnificent. I really enjoyed the characters and the realism of each one as they related to real life situations. God Bless You and may the Lord continue to shower you with wisdom.

loved the chosen series but I disliked dave Mitchell------he was the reason his children did what they did and suffered----hated the way he treated madeline,he never fought for her love and he could have married any woman other than sherry----that was a slap in the face to madeline---also he was so cold----he treated his son andre so badly he was the reason he turned out the way he did all andre wanted was to be loved by his father but dave was only interested in sherry------hope madeline finds love, true love before she dies------I do not think madeline should be friends with sherry, she knew dave was married and still she went after him

I just finished reading the book" Anointed" . I enjoyed reading the book, it was hard
to put down. I plan on reading other books by written by Patricia Haley.
If Anointed was a movie: I would have Tyler Perry direct the movie.
Dave - Morris Chestnut
Madeline - Janet Jackson or Kimberly Elise
Sherry - Denise Boulte
Frank - Lammon Rucker

Dear Patricia,

I truly loved Annointed. King David has always been one of my favorites in the Bible along with Paul. It is great to be able to read your books and see the similiarities to some of God's greatest servants. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I have become a middle aged fan! Anointed, Broken and Betrayed are well written books.I love that it's based on the story of David and how his infidelity had consequences even to the next generation. How creative of the author. I know it is God inspired! A great ministering too and entertaining as well.

I love the Chosen series but I have to big issues. I get irritated just like Madeline when
Dave goes into his "oh, I have peace sorry you don't" diatribe. Its frustrating and
doesn't make him likable. Now I keep reading this series hoping that Madeline gets a
new beau or some happiness in her life. Is that ever going to happen or is she still
going to be bitter through your whole series.

I read all of the books in the DMI -Dave Mitchell series and all I can say is there has to be another book after Chosen. What's going to happen to Joel now that he has stepped down, is Don going to be able to buy back the two divisions that were sold off, which woman will Don chose, Abigail or Neptali? So many questions, and so many unanswered questions. So, please write another book to close out the series.

I really enjoyed them all. Thank you for sharing your God given talent with the rest of the world. Love your writing.

OMG!!! I read Anointed first and I just finished reading Chosen. I was so excited that
Don came back in the end, but did you have to end it like that without Joel making his
decision? Lol I've only just begun reading your inspiring novels, but I must say, you
kept me on my toes the entire time.
Thanks Ms. Haley for your inspiring modern day biblical take in your novels,it brings
the bible closer to home.

I read Anointed, and just finished reading Betrayed. OMG! Girl, it's getting "gooder and gooder!" I wanted to write you after the Anhoiinted and tell you how I despised Dave who kept copping out on his faith in God, but never putting it into practice. He should have never, ever allowed himself to get close to Sherry; and she knew he was a married man, and should have left him alone! The craziness, hurt, and death that happened as a result of their indiscretion is unbelievable. Dave is so self-centered and focused on DMI, and his success, that he does not even realize how much his actions (or lack thereof in the case of his children) affect others.

I'm going to get the next books in the series and can't wait to see what happens next. God bless you for sharing your gift with us readers.

Okay, just finished Anointed...now I know how the series started. Still left hanging, as in the others, Broken Chosen and Destined. Enjoyed ALL of the books, good writing, wonderful, can't put them down. Waiting for the next book, Betrayed. So, when I read it I will have read the series!! But need to know what happened when Sherry's son's wife announces that she is pregnant......guess that will be another book, of course I will buy!!!

Kudos to you, Ms. Haley!!!

I have read all your books and enjoy that they usually feature mature adults - I think I've read them all. I doubt I'll read annointed (not interested in seeing how he cheats on Madeline and moves on.), but I will read betrayed to finish the series. I must say that the series on Madeline and her children is not my favorite. However, I am think they are a solid read. It's just that the mistress winning it all, over a hard working wife and mother is some what sad. When we think about only what you do for God will last, we understand that their pain as a family is real and was totally avoidable. Every book I check to see if some happiness is given to Madeline. Maybe she'll get a love interest, who can help her forgive so she can go on and look up and live? I can only hope that after the cliffhanger of the last book (I really hate that - people shouldn't have to keep buying to end a particular story. It's like a person stopping mid sentence and you are sitting there waiting on them to finish the thought. Personal peeve of mine.) this wraps up the story for all involved.

I read Annoited first for our bookclub; I had heard them talk about the other books you wrote; but by me not having read them I did not know the story. After I read Annoited; I then read the other books and to me it seemed as reading Annoited first really helped me to understand the series much better even though I read them backwards.

I read a few chapters out of your book. It was all I could do to swallow that much. I cant understand the praise in these comments. I think your writing style is choppy & incoherent at times. You use the same descriptive words repeatedly, maybe you should get a thesaurus & mix it up.

In any case, its all for God...so you go on & do your thang, hairweave & all.
